Career Receipt is a limited-beta career intelligence product. This notice describes the website’s intake and the beta assessment process. Last updated October 23, 2026.

What we collect

For a beta assessment: your name, email, résumé, and nine career answers, plus any optional LinkedIn profile, compensation, or city/region and country you choose to share. We also record your consent version and time, a submission reference, and basic file details. The waitlist collects only your name, email, and consent.

Please submit your own information. Remove your street address, government identifiers, financial account details, sensitive personal information, and confidential employer or client material. Compensation is optional.

Why we use it

To prepare and review your career assessment, contact you about your submission, and request beta feedback. Waitlist details are used to contact you about beta availability. Joining the beta or waitlist does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Separate, optional checkboxes let you allow anonymized product-improvement insights and contact about a testimonial. Both choices are checked by default. You may uncheck either without affecting beta participation. Neither authorizes publishing identifiable information without separate approval.

Human review and AI assistance

Career Receipt uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT to help prepare assessments from submitted résumés and answers. A real person reviews every report and emails the finished results. ChatGPT model-improvement sharing is turned off for the account used to prepare assessments. This does not mean OpenAI stores no information; its applicable terms and retention practices also apply. The intake website does not automatically generate reports or send submissions to ChatGPT.

Storage and access

Responses are stored in Cloudflare D1 and résumé files in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. They are not published on this website. Access is restricted to the Career Receipt operator and the providers required to deliver the service. We do not sell your submission or publish your report or receipt without separate permission. You choose whether to share your finished receipt.

Retention and deletion

The beta retention period is 180 days from submission for both intake and waitlist records. The application is configured to remove expired active records and résumé files on a daily schedule. Provider backups, recovery systems, and copies used outside this website may have separate retention periods and require additional deletion steps.

You can request access, correction, or deletion using the contact listed below. Include your submission reference if available; we may verify your identity before acting. Deletion does not automatically reopen a place in this beta round.

Website security and browser storage

Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse and may process browser, device, and network information for that purpose. Our application uses a temporary keyed hash of an IP address for rate limiting; it does not store raw IP addresses in the intake database. Cloudflare may maintain its own security logs.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Your in-progress answers stay in the open tab and are not saved as a browser draft. After successful submission, the tab may store a non-sensitive confirmation reference for the current browser session.
